Silverado St. Charles Memory Care Community is here to fulfill the care needs of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-impairing conditions in St. Charles and surrounding communities, including Evanston, Schaumburg, Aurora, Chicago, Janesville, Rockford and Milwaukee.
The single-story community features indoor space specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the memory impaired, as well as outside space purposefully built to give residents the freedom to enjoy the outdoors. The overall design serves to bring the Silverado experience to residents and their families, providing the individuals we serve with dignity, respect and the best quality of life possible.
Located just two miles from downtown St. Charles, in the heart of the Fox River Valley, across the street from Pheasant Run Resort, behind Culver's and next to the Hilton Garden Inn.

Nexus, an internationally recognized, research-based program for early stage residents combining science and social engagement
Staff specially trained in the challenges of Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Lewy body and other types of dementia
Dementia Care Certification program for caregivers that requires 40 hours of classroom and hands-on training
Physician medical director, masters level social worker and 24-hour licensed nurses
Three neighborhoods providing different levels of care appropriate to the needs of residents at different stages of their disease
Nexus, for early-stage residents at higher cognitive levels who are more independent
Sensory for residents in later stages of the disease who may have lost the ability to communicate verbally and require a high degree of assistance with activities of daily living
Enrichment, for residents in the transitory stages between Nexus and Sensory
