Set on 10 sprawling acres near Gage Park, Atria Hearthstone is the senior living provider of choice for Topeka's wisest older adults. With the assistance of a highly tenured staff – including a management team with more than 65 combined years of experience – our residents enjoy a simplified lifestyle with more time for friends, family and doing what they love.
Our campus is home to two vibrant communities: Atria Hearthstone East, which provides assisted living and memory care services, and Atria Hearthstone West, which provides independent and assisted living options. Both communities offer upscale amenities, engaging events, gourmet cuisine – and discreet support from a friendly, professional 24-hour staff.
When older adults move to Atria, they find more than just a place to live. They discover a warm sense of belonging as part of a vibrant community of their peers - from teachers, artists and decorated war veterans to doctors, homemakers and grandparents. They explore new opportunities to learn, grow and participate - right outside their doors.
With the “have-to-dos” taken care of by our attentive and professional staff, Atria residents are free to spend time on the “want-to-dos,” in beautiful and comfortable surroundings.
Gone are the concerns of grocery shopping and preparing meals, home maintenance, getting to appointments – and wondering if help will arrive quickly if needed. Instead of being consumed by everyday tasks, time spent with family and friends becomes quality time again.
Our signature events and activities program, Engage Life®, reflects our philosophy as a company. Our residents are people of action and service. Our job is to facilitate their goals and support them as they continue to learn, grow and make a difference.
Through our Atria Resident Discovery survey, we ask each new resident 64 specific questions. Each community’s Engage Life Director then draws inspiration from their answers to develop opportunities for joy, growth and fulfillment tailored to their interests.
Atria’s robust social calendars feature more than 200 monthly events based on eight key dimensions of engagement that contribute to a fulfilling life – from book discussions, gardening clubs, exercise classes and games to group outings, volunteer opportunities and art workshops. We also encourage our residents to stay active and involved by leading classes and events related to their expertise and lifelong passions.
