With a full range of life enrichment programs, services, amenities and health and wellness programs, an individual can stay healthy and independent for as long as possible. Our lovely and spacious two-bedroom, two bath ranch style duplexes offer maintenance free living on a continuum of care campus that provides appropriate care and support if an individual’s needs change. Our residents have peace of mind knowing independent, assisted living, memory care and rehabilitation health care is available to them …a la carte should they ever need it.

All of our spacious two bedroom, two bath duplex homes are built with an open floor plan and include cathedral ceilings, fireplace, fully applianced kitchen with breakfast bar, living and dining rooms, extra large master bedroom walk-in closet, 1 car garage, and a large front porch. Corian kitchen and bath countertops, comfort height vanities and toilets, heated bath floors, over-sized walk-in showers in the master bath and skylights in the guest bath, window blinds, ceiling fans, and of course, the 24 hour Lifeline emergency phone system are just a few of the many features each home offers.

Landscaping, snow removal and home maintenance/repair services are provided, but residents who enjoy gardening are free to indulge themselves around their home. Pets are welcome.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of our Door-to-Door Dinner Service available from our award-winning, five-star, full service restaurant, The Waterfall Café. Residents enjoy memberships to the nearby Rush-Copley Healthplex. Also available on the campus are on-site banking, ice cream parlor, salon and bus services, as well as many scheduled campus activities.

The campus grounds feature walking paths, ponds, swans, a beautiful waterfall at the campus entrance, seasonal flowers, and gazebo. Monthly fees at The Lakes at Waterford are extremely reasonable, and entrance fees are 100% refundable. There is never a charge for a second person.

Residents also have peace of mind knowing that if their health needs ever change, even temporarily, they can remain on the campus for rehabilitation services and assisted living. Such a full continuum of care right in the neighborhood makes living at The Lakes convenient and carefree.
