Sunrise of Bloomindale, located in DuPage County, Illinois, offers a beautiful community and an experienced staff — many of whom have worked with us since the day we opened in 1999. Our lovely building backs up to a forest preserve, and our residents frequently spend afternoons gazing at the rabbits, hummingbirds, and deer who live in our “backyard.” Our community features many outdoor areas where residents and staff maintain gardens and flower beds, and guests of our community enjoy leisurely strolls around our building and throughout the adjacent grounds.

At Sunrise of Bloomingdale, it is our team of compassionate caregivers that really sets us apart. Each person who serves our residents focuses on the unique needs and preferences of every individual within our community. Because we make each new resident feel welcome and comfortable, our team has earned an excellent reputation throughout the Bloomindale community. Many members of our team have received the Sunrise “Joy in Service” award, a prestigious recognition given to staff members who exemplify the highest quality of service.

Our activities programming is a highlight for our residents: Zumba exercise classes, wine and cheese parties, gardening clubs, and daily socials can be found on our weekly schedule. Outings include outdoor excursions to Lake Geneva and local wineries and breweries. Because we know the interests, hobbies and preferences of each resident, we are able to make their days unique, individualized, and special.

We are active members of the greater Bloomingdale community as well; the Bloomingdale library comes monthly to deliver and read books to our residents; local girl and boy scouts join us for Bingo; and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays we take our Gourmet Club out to local eateries.

Our dining program is also exceptional, and our chef uses seasonal, fresh ingredients to create each week’s menu. Our residents particularly enjoy Italian food, so exciting variations of pizza and pasta are regularly featured.
