Norwood Crossing is a non-profit senior living community located in Chicago's Norwood Park neighborhood. Our campus specializes in assisted living, skilled nursing, rehab, respite stays, and much more. We are dedicated to our mission of enhancing the independence and well-being of older adults.
Our licensed Assisted Living facilities are well-suited for residents who want private accommodations, but require some assistance with day-to-day tasks. Professionally-trained nursing staff are available around-the-clock, to provide just the right amount of care, while at the same time encouraging each person to remain as independent as possible.
With the focus on independence, Norwood Crossing offers a progressive and responsive rehabilitation program. Our dedicated therapists have created a proactive environment that uses the latest rehabilitation technology to return individuals back to their prior level of function after hospitalization.
Norwood Crossing is also home to older adults in need of short or long-term skilled nursing care. Our multi-disciplinary team includes professional nurses and nursing assistants who are truly committed to providing 24-hour nursing care for residents with their central focus on each individual’s well-being. Our social workers and chaplain are available to meet with residents upon their request. Numerous volunteers come from around Chicago to visit and befriend residents every week.
Norwood Crossing's memory support program is dedicated to meeting the daily needs of individuals in the middle to late stages of Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementias. Our specially trained team members are sensitive to the special needs of our memory impaired residents and are committed to preserving the dignity and uniqueness of each person, and making them feel at home in a safe, secure and nurturing home-like environment.
Norwood Crossing serves approximately 250 residents and continues to be at the forefront of senior living and healthcare, establishing a steadfast reputation of community-inspired, person-centered care.
