Paul House & Healthcare Center

Alzheimer's CarePaul House is a skilled nursing care and assisted-living community that has been part of the fabric of Chicago's Irving Park area for over 100 years. We are defined by our accomplished medical professionals, dedicated staff members, vibrant residents and our relationships that connect us deeply to our neighborhood.

Our Services
Our services provide a combination of comfort, safety and medical care for your loved one. We have multiple communities, each staffed and equipped to address the unique needs of our residents:

Post-acute rehabilitation
Long-term skilled nursing
Assisted living
Memory care
Respite Care
In addition to this, your loved one would receive individualized care and attention.

Our Staff
Our strength at Paul House is teamwork. Our interdisciplinary, comprehensive approach includes clear communication between all departments: therapy, nursing, activities, culinary and social services. This allows us to provide specific, individualized care for your loved one, and to better manage transfers between our various communities when necessary.

Our Residents
Right after stepping through the doors of Paul House, your loved one will feel like part of a community. We owe this to our residents, many of whom grew up in and around Irving Park. This is their home and any newcomers are neighbors and friends.

Whether it is an escort to a meal, a companion to enjoy birdwatching in our aviary or a competitor in a friendly game in one of our two activity centers, someone is always available. We also have social groups, such as a club that goes on walks in the nearby multi-acre Horner Park complex along the Chicago River.

Our Neighborhood
Our residents are not the only ones with history in the area. Paul House has been here in Irving Park for over one hundred years. During that time, we have built deep relationships with nearby social and medical professionals.

We are central to hospitals. Additionally, we have long-standing ties with many of the neighborhood schools. This provides a steady flow of volunteers for inter-generational programs.

Our Facilities
We have many different options for care and living arrangements. Feel free to schedule an appointment to see our community in person. We will discuss your loved one's unique needs and present all of the appropriate options.
