Arden Courts is a residential living alternative specifically designed for individuals for all stages of Alzheimer's as well as all other types of dementia memory impairments. We focus on meeting preferences, maximizing capabilities and fostering maximum independence.
Proudly serving the North Shore and surrounding suburbs for over 20 years, Arden Courts of Northbrook memory care community was designed with the input of family caregivers and neurological specialists to cater exclusively to the needs of those individuals with memory loss. Arden Courts’ unique, one-level house concept is designed to foster a friendly, familiar and safe environment—as much like home as possible. The residence is designed to promote socialization, independence and a sense of family. With the forest preserve as a backdrop, residents feel the freedom of outdoors within Arden Courts’ secure courtyard gardens.
Beyond the layout, the staff of Arden Courts focuses on maximizing the capabilities of residents by fostering independence and self-dignity through award winning daily programming. Meaningful activities are adapted to each individual’s preferences and abilities. The social calendar includes live music, outings, pet therapy and exercise. The tenured staff is committed to meeting the residents’ ever changing needs whether a stay is for respite or long term.
In addition to caring for residents, the management of Arden Courts of Northbrook understands that families, friends and caregivers need emotional support as well. Monthly support group meetings, educational and social events provide opportunities to develop bonds with other caregivers shouldering the effects of a loved one’s memory loss.
