My first suggestion is for you to tour some communities yourself that fit your Mom’s needs, budget, location requirements and amenities she would want. Once you narrow the options down to two communities ask your mom to go with you for lunch. Ask her what she likes, doesn’t like, etc. about each one. Suggest maybe she would like to try living at one to see what they’re really about. She can do a short-term stay for a few weeks on up to a few months without a long-term lease. I’m sure once she stays onsite she won’t want to move because she’ll build friendships, she’ll eat restaurant-style meals and get the support she needs to make her feel safe.
