The Foundation is the leader in McHenry County for providing legacy giving opportunities to our community’s donors and charitable organizations. Founded in 2001 to ensure financial support to McHenry County’s charitable community forever, The Foundation today is a $48 million organization that serves to “connect people who care with causes that matter.”

Safe Moves for Seniors’ mission is to make sure that anyone without the financial resources to move from their current home to another home for any reason will not be denied services that include packing, transport and unpacking.

We help choose qualified, affordable, and respectful moving companies and 3rd party services. We supervise all aspects of the move and pack for our clients who need help.

With this initiative, our goal is to promote opportunities for our clients to move when THEY choose to move and not just be at the mercy of an available friend or neighbor "might" be able to help.
